Pre-Shipment Inspection — Trifecta

Pre-Shipment Inspection

Clear customs in Mexico up to 48 hours faster.

The service

What is it?

A previo is the customs broker's obligation to examine goods thoroughly and confirm that what is declared on the pedimento matches the packing list and the invoice. That is how correct tariff classifications and the resulting taxes are determined.

A pre-shipment inspection moves that check to the origin. We coordinate with your freight forwarder and supplier to send an inspector to the supplier's premises at loading time, and physically verify the goods going into the container against your shipping documents.

We also confirm that the goods meet the destination country's import requirements and any specific requirements of your own.

Benefits

Why?

01

Speeds up clearance at the destination port by up to 48 hours

05

06

Reduces handling and storage costs at port that come from inspecting on arrival instead

07

Gives you a full picture of your container from the moment it sails
